The Federation Cup and Nigerian Football: A tribute to the nation's oldest football competition

I started this Blog, little over 6 years ago. Needless to say, a lot has happened since then, one of the more significant being the little spread you see below. Basically, a mini-history of Nigerian football symbolised by its oldest competition- The Federation Cup. Published by Storm 360, a visionary Nigerian media company- owned by my long-time friend- Obi Asika and commissioned by the Lagos State Government.

I say thanks once more to Obi and to Storm- its a wonderful opportunity. Irony being that when Storm was just an idea in the head of two young Nigerian businessmen, Obi and Nnamdi Asika, as a young Lawyer in Lagos in 1991, they briefed me to register the business- Storm Records. 21 years after, its a leader in Nigerian and African media, producing such content as Big Brother Africa, Nigeria Sings etc. Well its full circle. The book will be available on the usual suspects- iBooks, Kindle/Amazon, Barnes and Noble and eBay in the next two weeks. Thanks to anyone who's been reading this blog, it all started here.
